City of Newark Transportation Plan

During 2010-11, WILMAPCO and Newark worked with an advisory committee of citizens, civic and business groups, and public agencies to develop an updated multimodal transportation circulation plan for the Newark Area. This follow-up to the 1998 Newark/Elkton Intermodal Transportation Plan reexamined congestion and traffic operations, bicycle and pedestrian needs, transit coordination, parking. The plan was approved on November 2, 2011 by WILMAPCO Council and on October 10, 2011 by Newark City Council.
