Nonmotorized Transportation Working Group

The NMTWG advocates the creation and funding a safe, direct network of bicycle and pedestrian facilities through the region. State and local government representatives, bicycle, greenway and pedestrian organizations and advocates come together to coordinate their work through this group. The group reviews bicycle and pedestrian plans, programs and policies to advise WILMAPCO staff, committees, and Council. 3. Town of North East Bicycle Feasibility Study—Grant Handley, North East
The Town of North East will present the recommendations of the 2026 bicycle plan.

4. Draft FY 2027 Transportation Alternative Program Prioritization for New Castle and Cecil Counties—Leonard Bonarek, WILMAPCO
The NMTWG will discuss submissions to the TAP program and review the draft project prioritization scoring.

5. Sidewalk Gap Analysis for Cecil County, Maryland and New Castle County, Delaware—Heather Dunigan, WILMAPCO
