Centreville Village Plan: Community Survey

The Village Plan was a land use and transportation master plan, completed in 2002, to guide future development and transportation improvement decisions in order to preserve the area’s special character. Since the plans completion, New Castle County and DelDOT have been working to implement the plan as described below.

PURPOSE:

We are seeking your thoughts on transportation and land use in your area. The Centreville Civic Association, Delaware Department of Transportation, New Castle County and Wilmington Area Planning Council would like to know your concerns and ideas to help in developing the Centreville Village Plan

1.  What are your greatest transportation concerns for the Centreville area?

 

2.  Traffic calming has been identified as an approach to address speeding traffic in on Rt. 52 in the Village. Would you approve of traffic calming in Centreville? Why or why not?

 

3. Several conceptual alternatives have been identified for intersections in Centreville (do nothing, turn lanes on Rt. 52, traffic signal, roundabout). Which approaches do you prefer?
