Track A Feasibility Study
This study investigated the feasibility of extending "Track A" from Newark DE
to Perryville MD, given the current track configuration along Amtrak's Northeast Corridor.
SEPTA's R-2 regional rail commuter trains connect nearby Newark to points north, including Churchmans
Crossing, Wilmington, and Philadelphia;
MARC
Penn line regional rail connects Perryville to points south including Baltimore. Currently no commuter rail
serves the area between Newark and Perryville.
